Highstar is used at 0.5-5% w/w causticity (1.3-12.5% w/w, 0.9-8.7% v/v product) at temperatures ranging from 55-80°C, depending upon application and soil type. Super Dilac can be used for passivation under the following conditions: clossed systems 25%, 60-80°C, 3h open systems: 10-15%, 60-65°C, 5h Highstar containing solutions should be thoroughly rinsed after use to remove them from all food and beverage contact surfaces.
