Clax Personril is a well-stabilised and effective medium temperature disinfection system based on a mixture of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and stabilisers. It is a very thin liquid, which makes it easily pumpable, ensuring optimal delivery in the wash solution. This product can be applied on all types of fabric (except wool and nylon), including coloured articles. For optimal disinfection performance the temperature of the wash solution should be between 60 and 70 °C. When used according to user instructions Clax Personril causes minimal fabric damage and colour fading. It is important to note that bloodstains will set when in contact with peracid/peroxide and as a result, will be hard to remove. Therefore it is strongly advised to avoid any contact with Clax Personril during the initial phase of the wash (i.e. first 7 minutes). It is recommended to treat fabric with bloodstains with an enzymatic product in the prewash.

Please note the following:

1. Clax Personril is most effective at temperatures between 60 and 70 °C.
2. The pH of the wash solution should be between 9 and 10; At pH > 10, disinfection performance (peracid) decreases, while at pH < 9 acid will evaporate, creating hazardous situations. Therefore proper pH control is essential.
3. At temperatures > 70 °C, peracetic acid starts decomposing and disinfection performance decreases; At temperatures below 60 °C, disinfection effectiveness decreases (consequently longer washtimes are required to obtain similar effect as at 60 – 70 °C).
4. Do not use Clax Personril for wool or nylon (polyamide; eg HTN dustmat).
