Milkstone/scale prevention and removal routines for milk plants designed for circulation cleaning.

Deosan Acidophy should be made up as follows in cold or warm water.

• For milkstone/scale prevention routine (carried out at least monthly) use at the rate of 9ml/litre of water
• For milkstone/scale removal (as necessary) use at a rate of 25ml/litre of water.  The rate can be increased depending on the severity of the milkstone / scale build up to a maximum of 50ml/litre of water. 

For both routines circulate the acid solution between 20-60°C for 5 to 10 minutes before discharging to waste. Rinse thoroughly with clean cold water to remove all traces of acid.
