For all cleaning routines by recirculation, including robot systems.

• Rinse out the system with clean cold or warm water, running to waste until the returning water runs completely clear (Guide: 15 litres per milking unit).
• Make up a wash solution by adding Deosan Liquid CIP at the rate of 200ml/40 litres of hot water.
• Draw the solution into the system, running the initial return solution to waste, until the plant has become hot.
• Re-circulate the wash solution for up to 10 minutes, ensuring a minimum of 6 minutes. The returning water should not be allowed to drop below 54°C during the period of re-circulation.
• Run the solution to waste at the end of the circulation period and rinse the system thoroughly with clean cold potable water (Guide: 15 litres per milking unit). A Deosan terminal disinfectant may be added to the rinse water where required and permitted.
• Drain the plant thoroughly.

Acid wash Routine:
Ensure an acid wash is included as a regular component of the parlour / robot cleaning routine to avoid the buildup of scale and milkstone deposits.

For bottle washing apparatus:
Use Deosan Liquid CIP as a solution in water to give an in-use causticity of 0.5-1%. (A 2.3% v/v solution equates to 11.5-23ml of product/litre of water)
